For Women in our 50s, 60s & Beyond

This is a site where we honor the life work of the women around us - our mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters. Without them there would be no past, present or future.

Crisp and Cool days that follow summer’s heat,
Everyone’s getting ready for trick or treat,
Apples being mashed for apple cider,
The mash falling as we sit on the glider,

The smell of warm donuts fill the air,
This is the answer to Autumn’s prayer,
A riot of colors Red, orange, gold,
As the being of Autumn starts to unfold,

yellow_tree3Late year mums that brighten the Autumn days,
Fill up the days until Winter comes to play,
Pumpkins and squash now are at there peak,
While children have fun playing hide and seek,

Rolling Rolling down the hill to hear the crunch,
Of leaves that have fallen all in a bunch,
Scarecrows that still scare the crows away,
Don’t you wish that Autumn could stay
